A Florida man spent Christmas behind bars after allegedly removing his clothes and breaking into two upscale oceanfront homes to drink alcohol and party, according to authorities.
The suspect, Vladimir Demidovich, was arrested on Christmas night and charged with two felony counts of burglary. He was taken into custody and booked at the Miami-Dade County Jail.
Police say they were called Thursday evening to a luxury home in Golden Beach—an affluent community about 20 miles northeast of Miami—after reports of a naked man inside the residence.
Responding officers allegedly found Demidovich unclothed and hiding in the garage. He told police that his clothes were in a nearby home. When officers checked the second property, they located his clothing on the second floor and observed signs of disarray, along with evidence that alcohol had been consumed.
Investigators believe Demidovich illegally entered both homes to drink alcohol and possibly steal items, though it remains unclear whether anything was taken.
Demidovich was later photographed for a booking mugshot and remains in custody as the case moves forward.
