Dr. Oluwafemi Olawale Adefulire reportedly passed away in the early hours of Wednesday, December 10, 2025, in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, after undergoing a surgical operation.

Princess Orelope-Adefulire, a well-known figure in Lagos politics, served as Deputy Governor from 2011 to 2015 under former Governor Babatunde Fashola. She currently holds the position of Senior Special Assistant to President Bola Tinubu on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), a role she previously occupied during the administration of former President Muhammadu Buhari before being reappointed.
