Liverpool manager Arne Slot held pivotal discussions with Mohamed Salah on Friday morning, the Daily Mail reports.
Slot had left Salah out of the squad for their midweek Champions League trip to Inter Milan, following an explosive interview from the Egyptian winger last Saturday, in which he criticized the club’s hierarchy.
Salah stated he felt “thrown under the bus” and admitted to having “no relationship” with Slot, fueling speculation that this weekend’s league clash against Brighton could mark his final appearance for Liverpool.
Slot commented: “I will have a conversation with Mo this morning, and the outcome of that conversation will determine how things look tomorrow. I have no reason not to want him to stay, if that is a little bit of an answer.”
