Nigeria international Ola Aina is set to make his comeback for Nottingham Forest against Aston Villa on Saturday,
The 29-year-old defender had been sidelined with a hamstring injury sustained during international duty with Nigeria in September 2025.
Aina resumed training in November, but head coach Sean Dyche chose to ease him back gradually. The injury also ruled him out of the ongoing 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
He has now been named in Forest’s squad for the clash with Aston Villa. The full-back has featured in three league matches for the Tricky Trees so far this season.
