A Point-of-Sale (PoS) operator has been killed by suspected armed robbers in Owerri, Imo State.
The incident reportedly occurred on Sunday, March 22, 2026, opposite Everyday Supermarket.
Eyewitnesses said the attackers approached the young man and demanded money, but he resisted their demands. The situation quickly escalated, with the assailants attacking him before shooting him.
Residents disclosed that the victim had previously been targeted by criminals on earlier occasions, raising concerns about rising insecurity in the area.
