Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has shared why she became part of the Aniocha Women’s Group, a prestigious women’s society, after her marriage to billionaire Ned Nwoko. She spoke about this in an interview with Potpourri.
On her “initiation” into the Aniocha Women’s Group:
“I wouldn’t call it an initiation. It’s more about being welcomed into womanhood and joining an elite circle. You must be married and a woman of substance to be included. I feel privileged to be part of this group.”
On socializing with peers:
“I’ve never really enjoyed hanging out with people my own age. I prefer spending time with those older than me to learn from them or with younger people so I can teach them. Being married hasn’t changed that at all.”
What she admires most about her husband:
“His honesty. Ned is the most honest person I’ve ever met, and that’s what I love most about him.”
Next steps in her career:
“I’m looking to expand into business, producing, directing, and eventually Hollywood.”
On what marriage has taken from her:
“Honestly, I can’t think of anything. When I was single, my life revolved around acting and school, leaving little time for social events. Now, I have more opportunities to enjoy life, including attending parties.”
Could she quit acting if asked by her husband?
“The question is, would he ever ask me to quit? I’ve never thought about that, but the man I married would never ask me to give up what I love.”
