Global boxing star Anthony Joshua was involved in a road traffic accident on Monday in Makun, Ogun State.
According to eyewitness accounts, the crash occurred along a busy section of the Lagos–Ibadan Expressway. The vehicle conveying Joshua reportedly collided with another car, though the exact circumstances surrounding the incident are still under investigation.
An eyewitness who spoke with PUNCH Online and participated in the rescue operation said the boxer sustained only minor injuries, but confirmed that two persons lost their lives at the scene.
