British adult content creator Bonnie Blue fined £9, handed 10-year Bali ban after ‘Bangbus’ arrest

British adult content creator Bonnie Blue has been fined and banned from entering Bali for 10 years following her arrest over the improper use of a vehicle linked to controversial online content.

The 26-year-old, whose real name is Tia Billinger, was ordered by a Denpasar court to pay a fine of 200,000 Indonesian rupiah (about £9) after being found guilty of violating traffic regulations. Authorities said a blue pickup truck she owned, nicknamed the “Bangbus,” was licensed for transporting goods but was instead used to convey people.

Billinger was arrested while travelling around the Indonesian holiday island in the vehicle. Prosecutors also cited one British man for driving without a valid international driving licence.

During the court proceedings, Billinger appeared alongside two British nationals and one Australian. She arrived at the Denpasar District Court in a white BMW SUV and sat with the three men throughout the hearing. The court noted that failure to pay the fine could have resulted in a custodial sentence.

While the fine related solely to traffic offences, Billinger had earlier been questioned over alleged breaches of immigration rules and pornography laws. Police confirmed they raided a property where she was filming content involving several adult tourists but said no pornographic acts were discovered.

A police spokesperson told local outlet Kumparan News that the group was producing collaborative game-based content and that no explicit activity was found during the raid.

Although initial reports suggested the group might be allowed to leave Indonesia, Billinger and three others were held for further questioning. Her spokesperson later confirmed she was released and cooperating with authorities.

At a press briefing in Badung, police announced that Billinger and members of her team would be barred from entering Indonesia for at least 10 years for violating visa conditions. Badung Police Chief Arif Batubara said she should have been visiting Bali as a tourist, not producing content.

Immigration chief Heru Winarko added that the ban could be extended, stressing Indonesia’s strict laws governing content creation and immigration compliance.
