Former Nickelodeon star Tylor Chase has sparked concern online after a viral video showed him living on the streets of Riverside, California.
Chase, now 36, is best known for portraying Martin Qwerly on Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide, which aired on Nickelodeon from 2004 to 2007. In the circulating clip, he appears disheveled as a passerby speaks with him and asks if he once acted on Disney Channel.
“Nickelodeon,” Chase corrected, explaining that he appeared on Ned’s Declassified. The fan then recognized him and responded, “Oh yeah, you’re that kid on it,” as Chase shared his full name.
The footage quickly spread across social media, prompting widespread sympathy and concern from viewers who were shocked to see the former child actor in such circumstances.
The video has since reignited conversations about the challenges faced by former child stars and the lack of long-term support for actors after leaving the spotlight.
