Rapper Nino Breeze, an artiste signed to Rick Ross’ Maybach Music Group, has been released on bond after being charged in a federal marijuana-related case during the Christmas period.
According to his lawyers, Bradford Cohen and Mark Rankin, Breeze turned himself in on Monday, December 22, to the United States Marshals Service at the federal courthouse in Tampa. He was charged with conspiracy to possess marijuana with intent to distribute.
The legal team disclosed that following a court hearing, the rapper was granted bail after posting a $100,000 cash bond and offering an additional $100,000 worth of property as collateral.
During the bond proceedings, the judge reportedly acknowledged Breeze’s growing music career and encouraged him to remain focused on his professional development. His attorneys confirmed that he would be spending Christmas at home.
“Nino will be home for Christmas,” the lawyers said, adding that they look forward to examining the evidence and addressing the case through the legal process.
Nino Breeze is currently signed to Maybach Music Group, founded by rapper Rick Ross, which released his most recent EP earlier this year. The case is still ongoing, with further court appearances expected in the coming months.
