American singer, songwriter, and actress Teyana Taylor and British actor Aaron Pierre have reportedly gone their separate ways less than a year after beginning their relationship.
According to Page Six, the Straw star, 35, and the Rebel Ridge actor, 31, are no longer romantically involved. While the exact reason for the breakup has not been disclosed, reports indicate that the pair have quietly parted ways.
Speculation about their romance first emerged earlier this year when they were both seen at the Fifteen Percent Pledge Gala in Los Angeles in February. Shortly after, they appeared together at the Vanity Fair Oscars after-party, further fueling dating rumors.
Pierre later made an appearance in the trailer for Taylor’s 2025 album, Escape Room, where the two shared a passionate kiss. By June, Taylor publicly confirmed their relationship on Instagram with a heartfelt post celebrating Pierre’s 31st birthday.
The couple went on to attend the BET Awards together in Los Angeles, where Taylor spoke fondly of Pierre in an interview with Complex, describing him as “very gentle” and saying he made her feel “warm,” “safe,” and no longer in “survival mode.”
Pierre also joined a panel discussion during the launch of Taylor’s album, praising her as truly “one of one.” The pair were frequently seen wearing coordinated outfits while promoting the project, which later earned Taylor a Grammy nomination.
