Atletico Madrid players warmly received Ademola Lookman during his first training session with the club on Tuesday.
The squad carried out their customary initiation ritual by forming two lines as Lookman made his way onto the training pitch.
As part of the tradition, the Nigerian forward was playfully slapped by his teammates to mark his arrival.
Diego Simeone’s side are currently preparing for Thursday night’s Copa del Rey quarter-final encounter against Real Betis.
Lookman is hopeful of making his Atletico debut in the clash with Manuel Pellegrini’s team.
The 28-year-old completed his move to the Spanish giants from Atalanta on Monday.
