Nigerian lawyer, Deji Adeyanju, has alleged that members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) are indirectly working toward the re-election of Bola Tinubu in 2027.
In a video shared on his social media platform, Adeyanju described the PDP as ineffective, claiming the party has become a distraction with members more focused on personal political leverage than genuine opposition.
He further alleged that Seyi Makinde is positioning himself to replace Nyesom Wike as Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) in 2027.
According to him, internal ambitions within the PDP are contributing to a situation where party members are indirectly supporting Tinubu’s return to power, rather than presenting a strong alternative.
Adeyanju dismissed the party’s current state, saying he would not be part of what he described as its political theatrics.
Meanwhile, the activist also urged the Federal Government to take a tougher stance on terrorism. He argued that both perpetrators and their supporters should face stricter penalties, including capital punishment, rather than leniency, warning that a soft approach could weaken efforts to address insecurity in the country.
