Premier League side Chelsea has confirmed that Landon Emenalo, son of former Nigeria international Michael Emenalo, has committed his future to the club by signing a long-term contract. The announcement was made through an official statement on Chelsea’s website.
Landon Emenalo, who can represent the United States, Nigeria, or England at senior level, is set to remain with the Blues at least until the end of the 2030–2031 season.
A Chelsea academy graduate, Landon first joined the club at the U8 level. He spent some time at Monaco before returning to Chelsea at U13. Now 18, he was among Chelsea’s scholars for the 2024–2025 season and signed his first professional contract in January 2025.
This season, Emenalo has featured in a range of competitions for Chelsea, including the U18 Premier League, Premier League 2, Premier League International Cup, FA Youth Cup, UEFA Youth League, and EFL Trophy.
Although he has yet to make his senior debut, the left-back has been called up for three official matches, including games against Pafos (Champions League), Legia Warsaw (Conference League), and Liverpool (Premier League).
The Arizona-born talent has also represented youth teams for both England and the United States, continuing his development on the international stage
