US Offers $10m Reward For Information On Iran’s Supreme Leader Khamenei, Others

The United States Department of State has announced a $10 million reward for information related to Iran’s new supreme leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, and several other senior Iranian officials.

Also listed among the 10 individuals named by the department are Eskandar Momeni and Esmail Khatib.

According to the State Department, the individuals are accused of commanding and directing different units of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, which it alleges is involved in planning and carrying out terrorist activities globally.

The department urged anyone with useful information to submit tips through secure communication platforms such as Tor or Signal. It added that informants could be eligible for financial compensation and possible relocation.

The reward is being offered through the Rewards for Justice Program, which provides cash incentives for information that leads to the arrest or prosecution of individuals wanted for terrorism-related activities.

The development comes after the death of Mojtaba Khamenei’s father, Ali Khamenei, who was reportedly killed in a bombing on February 28 at the start of a conflict involving the United States, Israel, and Iran.
