Troops of Sector 9 under Operation Safe Haven have rescued a suspected kidnapper from an angry mob in Plateau State.
The incident took place in Gidan Mangoro village, located in Shendam Local Government Area, where residents had apprehended the suspect and were on the verge of carrying out mob justice.
Security operatives arrived in time, dispersed the crowd, and saved the suspect from being killed.
He was subsequently taken into custody for further investigation into his alleged involvement in kidnapping activities in the area.
