The newly wedded wife of Nigerian clergyman, Pastor Chris Okafor, has spoken about their relationship, describing their union as divinely arranged.
In a clip from their pre-wedding shoot, she said their meeting was not the result of human effort but God’s orchestration. According to her, their relationship was intentional and guided by faith.
She showered praise on the pastor, referring to him as her husband, best friend, boyfriend, and confidant. Expressing joy about their future together, she said she looked forward to raising children with him and building a God-centred family.
She added that Pastor Okafor brings sweetness into her life and understands her deeply.
“We met by divine orchestration. It is something that wouldn’t have happened by human effort; God actually put us together,” she said. “He is intentional — my sugar daddy, boyfriend, husband, best friend and my daddy. I’m excited about carrying his children and watching our family grow in God’s glory. He makes my life sweeter and knows my secret button.”
The video sparked mixed reactions online, with some social media users expressing scepticism, while others made sarcastic or cautionary remarks about the marriage.
The post comes amid public allegations by actress Doris Ogala, who had claimed that Pastor Okafor reneged on promises to marry her after a long-term relationship that reportedly began in 2017. Ogala alleged emotional distress, financial exploitation, and intimidation following the end of the relationship.
Despite the controversy and threats of legal action from the actress, the pastor and his partner proceeded with their wedding.
Ogala had previously accused the clergyman of owing her money and using his position to intimidate her, adding that she intended to fully share her experience and warn others.
