Yunusa Tanko, National Coordinator of the Obidient Movement Worldwide, has warned that Nigeria is “sinking in all ramifications.”
Tanko made the remarks on Thursday during an interview with Arise Television, monitored by SNOW TV NEWS . He expressed confidence in former Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi, stating that Obi is capable of restoring Nigeria’s glory if given the opportunity to lead the country.
He emphasized that Nigerian youths are strong, determined, and ready to take action, remaining a crucial force in shaping the nation’s future.
“We have confidence in Peter Obi, who has shown resilience and determination. The situation is like being in a river or ocean with a double-edged sword—you either seize it or you drown.
“For anyone thinking otherwise, this is the moment to decide because Nigeria is clearly sinking, and we see it with our own eyes. You can either join the coalition to build a united and thriving nation, or we all face the consequences.
“At this critical time, those supporting Peter Obi are prepared and watching closely. He has a strong base, and any actions will have accountability.
“Look at the reality in the country: members of the Federal House of Representatives, upon returning home, have been attacked to the point of incapacitation. We do not condone violence, but it serves as a stark example of what could happen if one opposes the will of the people,” Tanko stated.
